Ashley Benedict, PhD

Ashley Benedict is the Chief Project Management Officer for the UFHealth Information Technology Department. Her previous job was VISN System Redesign Coordinator for the VA Sunshine Healthcare Network. She received her BS and MEng degrees in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida and her PhD degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. Ashley is a Past President for the Society for Health Systems (SHS).

Patrick Tighe, MD, MS

Dr. Tighe is an anesthesiologist who works with clinicians, researchers, engineers and project managers to advance the theory and application of patient safety using AI. His NIH-funded research activities use artificial intelligence to better understand how perioperative factors and care delivery pathways influence postoperative outcomes.
